what we do with it

When you place an order we keep your name, phone number, delivery address and, if you give it, your email. If you order a made-to-measure kaftan we also keep the measurements you send us, so the next one fits without you measuring again. If you pay by mobile money we also keep the transaction ID and the name on the sending account so we can match the payment. That is all — we do not ask for and never store your mobile money PIN, and no card details pass through this site.

Only to pack your order, deliver it, match your payment and talk to you about that order. We may send you a WhatsApp message about an order you placed. We do not sell or rent your details to anybody, and we do not add you to a marketing list unless you ask us to.

The rider or courier carrying your order sees your name, phone number and address, because they have to. Our staff see orders through a passcode-protected page. Nobody else has access.

We keep order records for six years, because that is what our books and any exchange need. If you want your details removed from anything outside that, call 0557264015 or email fabeawear@egtclothing.com and we will do it.

Prices are in Ghana cedis and include everything except delivery. Each piece is made in the studio in small numbers, so occasionally the last of a size sells in person at the same moment as an online order. If that happens we call you and either refund you in full, cut the same kaftan again in your size, or hold your order until the next run — your choice.

An order is confirmed when the payment lands. Mobile money payments go to 0557264015 (Mobile Money) in the name of FABEA WEAR. Always check that name before you send money, and never send payment to a different number even if somebody messages you asking for it.

Ready-to-wear is subject to size availability. Made-to-order kaftans require seven working days of production before delivery. A rider brings your order to your door anywhere in Accra. Other regions go by bus or courier, and we call you before the parcel leaves the studio. Made-to-order and made-to-measure production comes before delivery and is not counted as part of it. Delivery times are our honest estimate and not a guarantee — traffic, weather and bus schedules are not ours to control. If your order is going to be late, we call you.

Ready-to-wear orders can be changed within 24 hours of being placed — call or send us a WhatsApp message with your order number and tell us what to change. Bespoke pieces are cut to your measurements, so changes to those are talked through with you during the fitting.

Ready-to-wear pieces can be returned within 14 days of delivery, provided they are unworn, unwashed, undamaged, in their original condition, with the tags attached and your order number available.

If there is an issue with an order, our first option is to alter or adjust the piece where possible. If the issue cannot be fixed through alteration, we will remake or replace the piece at no additional cost to you.

Bespoke and made-to-measure pieces are cut specifically for you, so they can only be returned where there is a fault in craftsmanship, an error on our part, or the piece does not match the agreed specifications. In such cases, we will alter, repair, remake or replace the piece as appropriate.

If you do not accept the alteration or remake option, we may issue a refund. For any refund, the original item must first be returned to and received by us before the refund is processed.

Where the issue is our responsibility, we cover the reasonable transportation costs for the return, alteration, repair, remake or replacement. For other returns or changes requested by the customer, the cost of sending the item back to the studio is yours.
